This webinar will present finalized rule changes for CR-ICR-PR-SET PAD that take effect January 1, 2022. It will also review basic components of these services that remain the same that are often sources of confusion for providers. Lastly, it will offer new/improved ways to deliver more patient-centric services while incorporating changes.
Learning Objectives:
- Participants will be knowledgeable about CPT codes appropriate when billing Medicare for Pulmonary Rehab and Outpatient Respiratory Services, and any changes for 2023.
- Participants will be knowledgeable about proper billing for cardiac and intensive cardiac rehabilitation services in the hospital outpatient setting.
- Participants will understand Medicare guidance regarding virtual direct supervision in 2023 and ways to use this to a program’s advantage to increase access to our services.
- Participants will be aware of Medicare’s finalized 2023 payment rates.
- Participants will be aware of the negative consequences of Section 603 of the BBA of 2015 and AACVPR’s strategy to resolve this obstacle to program expansion for improved patient access.
