This course will review basic lipid metabolism and the data supporting dyslipidemia as a cardiovascular risk factor. Then, it will cover both the non-pharmacologic (lifestyle) and pharmacologic treatments of dyslipidemia and how they reduce cardiovascular risk in patients with dyslipidemia.
