2018 Annual Meeting Recorded Session B210: Peripheral Arterial Disease Rehabilitation - Who Needs It, What It Does, and What Works Best
Peripheral arterial disease (PAD) affects millions of people in the US. PAD adversely effects quality of life, reduces exercise capacity, and is associated with a high-risk of coronary artery disease and stroke. PAD rehabilitation is a first-line treatment recommendation for a vast majority of affected individuals because it can reduce symptoms, improve quality of life, improve physiological parameters, and may reduce cardiac disease risk factors.
