2021 Annual Meeting: B104 Preparing for the post-COVID future of Cardiac Rehabilitation
While innovative approaches to cardiac rehabilitation have been evolving long before COVID-19, implementation was habitually slow. However, with COVID-19 the norms of cardiac rehabilitation were suddenly undercut such that interest in remote and virtual approaches to cardiac rehabilitation became newly catalyzed, as well as related concerns regarding process, safety, and efficacy of new models of care. This session will describe the formative changes in cardiac rehabilitation that have evolved since COVID-19, and which are likely to endure.
